1) Jing mei is an asian so am I.
2) She took piano lessons like me, but like her, I didn't like it either.
4) Like Jin mei I can speak Chinese.
5) When she reacted to her mother, not to play piano, it felt like seeing myself.
6) In the last part, when she replayed her piano on her 30th birthday, again, I felt like seeing myself reopening the piano lid, after quiting my lesson.

The story "Two Kinds" was well explaining the Asian culture. Asian culture of forcive parents was well told, and the feeling of the child's thought was very deep. Also this story is told like her own experience. I'm saying that while I was reading this story, I felt a realistic writing. In this writing, mostly I like the discription of the character's feeling.
